Georgina Onuoha has commended Charlyboy for having the courage, bravery and wisdom to lead such a wise and needing protest on behalf of Nigerians. The Nollywood actress in a long post on her Instagram page, tasked Nigerians to support ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ protest as it is for their own good, while also insinuating that those who keep mum over the ill happenings in th e country are doing so because they are in bed with those that rob our people of their basic human dignity.   GALLANT TROOPS OF 29 BATTALION IN OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE ROTATED In line with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General TY Buratai’s determination of rotating overstayed troops operating in the northeast as part of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, soldiers of 29 Battalion based in Port Harcourt, have been rotated and returned to their main unit amidst cheers and jubilation from their families and colleagues. The troops have served in various units under Operation LAFIYA DOLE where they contributed immensely to the successes of routing out and defeat of the Boko Haram terrorists in the North East. Bishop arrested over alleged N500m fraud

The Police in Enugu State have arrested Bishop Ginika Obi for allegedly defrauding members of the public to the tune of N500 million. 1,886 schools shut down in Rivers State

Wike said that 1886 schools have been shut down in the state for failing to meet specified standard.He said “We have told parents of children at the 1886 schools shut down by the state government to relocate their wards before the commencement of the next academic session.By September, we shall fully implement measures aimed at strengthening the state education sector. We want to maintain a standard that will uplift education in the state".  Governor Wike said that education is critical in the administration’s agenda to transform the state and empower the people. He regretted that most illegal schools have become WAEC magic centres where examination malpractice is promoted. The governor said that measures have been put in place to check the springing up of illegal schools in different parts of the state. -channelstv
