Investigations into the case revealed that, the accused who allegedly specialises in disguising as a female, fraudulently opened a facebook account with profile name Hajia Fatima Mohmammed and through this medium, continiously chat and eventually exchanged numbers with the complainant. Along the line they arranged to meet one on one, but being that Abubakar was not a female as he protrayed all this while lied to the complainant on the day they were to meet that his mum was hospitalised in Lagos. The Nigerian job market is to see an injection of 9298 potential employees fresh out of school as the University of Nigeria Nsukka is set to host its 47th convocation scheduled to hold on  December 1st . This was disclosed in a pre-convocation press briefing given by the Vice Chancellor, Benjamin Ozurumba. A breakdown of the figure shows 7,830 first degree, diploma and certificate including 132 first class graduates, 1,468 post graduate degrees and diploma comprising 331 doctor of philosophy degrees, 982 Masters Degree and 155 post graduate diplomas. Ozurumba also disclosed that the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, former Abia State Governor, Dr Orji-Uzor Kalu, and the Chairman, Zenith Bank, Mr Jim Ovia will be awarded doctorate degrees. Four suspects who allegedly murdered a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Festac,  Emmanuel Ubah alias Onwa, have been arrested by Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police’ Intelligence Response Team. Ubah, was shot four times on the head while inside his car by assailants, who threw all his  mobile phones into the canal. Onwa’s death sparked outrage in Amuwo Odofin, with his  friends and associates insisting that it was politically motivated. Nigerian dancehall singer and songwriter, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has been declared wanted by the police for questioning According to the Police commisioner, '4 armed robbers carried out the attack and detectives were able to arrest one of their girlfriends who is identidied as 'Matejero' which led to the capture of the others.  During interogation, the robbers confessed that they were hired by Burna Boy through his manager, Joel Kantiock who was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna State'.  The CP went on to say that 'they confessed to receiving a part payment of 50,000 naira before the job and another 50,000 was paid to the robbers directly by Burna Boy when the job was done. At the moment, efforts to apprehend Burna Boy is proving futile but we count on him to make himself available for questioning immediately'.

A family friend, Habib Gaiam Aka Gidado revealed what transpired before, during and after Bilyami Mohammed Bello was killed by his wife.  Bilyami, the son of former PDP chairman, Bello Haliru Mohammed, was stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda in the early hours of Sunday, November 19. All LGBT events in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, have been banned. Events such as LGBT film screenings, theatre shows, panels, and exhibitions have been banned for an "indefinite" period. The Ankara governor's office said the ban has been imposed to protect "public security". The restrictions came into effect on Saturday The governor’s office claimed such LGBT events may cause animosity between different groups and endanger "health and morality", as well as the rights and freedoms of others. It warned some groups may be provoked by LGBTI events and take action against participants due to "certain social sensitivities". Homosexuality is not a crime in Turkey and numerous LGBTI associations are legally registered with the state. Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe has agreed to step down after 37 years in power. He is expected to officially announce his departure on live television tonight.  Prior to resigning, the elderly dictator was in a state of psychological collapse, crying for his dead son and late first wife, refusing to speak or wash and staging a desperate hunger strike, DailyMail reports. He has until noon local time on Monday to resign as president or impeachment proceedings will start, Zanu-PF said. The news of his resignation was greeted with ecstatic celebrations all over the country, with cars honking horns and crowds spontaneously taking to the streets of the capital. Two Nigerian men, who were part of an organised fraud network, who conned amateur sports clubs and small businesses out of over £300,000, have been jailed for more than six years. Okwudili Chinze, 44 and Ahmed Otun, 41,  defrauded their victims - including amateur football clubs, village halls and solicitors firms - by sending them emails purporting to be from an individual affiliated to their organisation, such as the treasurer or financial director. The email would ask them to transfer a sum of money and the recipient, believing the email to be genuine, would pay the sum into an account run by the fraudsters. Chinze, of no fixed abode had previously pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation and money laundering. On Friday, 17 November at Kingston Crown Court, he was sentenced to two years and eight months' imprisonment for conspiracy to commit fraud, and fifteen months for money laundering, to run concurrently.
