Kenneka Jenkins seen walking into hotel freezer alone, says activist shown surveillance video by detectives
According to the Chicago Tribune, Chicago community activist, Andrew Holmes showed up to police department seeking answers on behalf of the family.
Detectives showed Holmes the surveillance footage from the Rosemont hotel and it shows Jenkins walking into the freezer alone.
He said that Jenkins, 19, was waiting in the lobby after her friends went upstairs to get the rest of their belongings. During that time, Jenkins took the elevator down to the lower level and wandered around, opening doors in an apparent "disoriented" manner.

"It was just an accident waiting to happen," he said
Police plan on showing her mother the footage before they release it to the public at the end of the investigation.
