The wedding of Fatima, the daughter of Africa’s richest billionaire, Aliko Dangote and Jamil, the pilot son of former Inspector General (IG) of Police, MD Abubakar will bring together the high and mighty in Nigeria and from around the world.
 According to reports, about five presidents in the world and all the past presidents of Nigeria are billed to attend the wedding as well as world’s renowned billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft boss, Bill Gate, has confirmed his intent to attend the wedding.

IGP Orders For Immediate Sack Of Plateau Police Commissioner

Hours after the killing of over 100 people in Barkin Ladi, Riyom and Jos South Local Government Areas, the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the sacking of the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Undie Adie, with immediate effect. He was replaced by Yobe state-born Bala Ciroma, who was until his new position the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department. A terse statement issued on Tuesday by the Spokesperson of Plateau State Police Command, Matthias Tyopev, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, neither gave reasons for the removal nor explained his new posting.
