Four people sentenced on to death on Friday for stealing a cell phone valued at N10,000 in Oyo State. The four – Alaba Akinola, 30, Sarafa Babalola 25, Sola Kolawole, 27, and Ibrahim Gbedeogun 28 – were accused of armed robbery. Mr I. About 373 illegal pharmacies and patent medicine stores have been shutdown by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria in Ogun State for various offences. A pastor in Sierra Leone has finds  a 706-carat diamond, according to the government, in one of the largest precious stone finds ever made worldwide. The discovery was made by Pastor Emmanuel Momoh in an artisanal mine in the village of Koyadu in eastern Kono district, a government statement said on Thursday. A 706-carat diamond was presented to President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma yesterday evening, the statement said. EFCC, today, secured the conviction and sentencing of an Internet fraudster, Akintunde Vincent Abiodun, 37, before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja. Abiodun was arraigned on January 23, 2017. on an amended 12-count charge of stealing and forgery to the tune of N7, 806, 093. Abiodun’s long walk to jail began after he presented himself as Christopher Williams to his victim, Dona Bonni, whom he met on a dating site on the Internet. The convict, as part of his tricks, had told Bonni that he inherited gemstones worth $18, 050,000 from his late father in the U.K. He also forged an American passport with which he convinced his victim of his purported nationality. Consequently, the convict dishonestly received various sums of money, at different times, from his victim. Justice Ipaye sentenced the accused to six years imprisonment.

22-year-old Nigerian man was arrested on Thursday, March 16th after he exposed himself to at least three women in a Shopko parking lot at 55 Lake Boulevard in Redding, US. Kawan Okoye Gaidowsky admitted to the Redding Police Department he was driving a gray, 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt when he pulled up next to a woman in the Shopko parking lot, pulled out his penis and began to masturbate on Wednesday morning around 8:42 a.m., police said. The woman, Ashlee Libolt, reported the car's description and license plate to police. An officer checked the car's records and found it was registered to Gaidowsky. His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his successful return from a medical vacation in London. In a telephone call Thursday, the Moroccan monarch expressed delight and happiness at the kind of reception Nigerians gave President Buhari when he returned home. He said it was evidence of a leader widely loved by his people. King Mohammed VI, who had been in Nigeria on a state visit last December, invited President Buhari to visit Morocco in the same fashion.
