Wizkid His Goal Is Not To Penetrate International Music Market

During a chat with BBC, Wizkid spoke about the philosophy guiding his art.

He said that he does care about international appeal although he cares for his 
international fans.

He stressed that his interest is in getting his music heard, whether it’s by fans in 
Africa or by fans abroad.

He also said that there is no secret formula to his art, that what he does is that he keeps
 his music easy and simple; and that he likes the fact that his fans welcome his style of 
things; music and life.

Gov Wike Offers Young Musician Nengi Jaja 40million Scholarship

The scholarship worth N40million will cover the education of Master Jaja from Secondary School up to University Level. Governor Wike announced the Scholarship on Sunday at the State Ecumenical Centre in Port Harcourt during the Thanksgiving Service in honour of Prince Uche Secondus where the young musician performed soul lifting songs. The governor directed the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Province 5 to open an account for the musician in laision with his family for the purpose of his training. He urged the church to closely monitor and guard the young musician to ensure that he fulfils his destiny.

The development came exactly a week after the two top government officials engaged in an altercation at the same venue. Oyo-Ita, on arrival at the Council Chambers, venue of the meeting went straight to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and greeted him. She was still discussing with Osinbajo when Kyari arrived. All smiles, Kyari and Oyo-Ita embraced publicly as cameramen struggled to get good shots of the public display of affection. Other members of the council clapped for them as the drama unfolded.
