Hon. Desmond Elliot donates 'free ride to school bus' to Surulere students



The actor/director turned politician, Hon. Desmond Elliot, who is representing Surulere 1 Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, donated the bus which will be used to convey students from his constituency to school for free. He shared photos of the bus on social media with the caption;

“It’s two years already , In saying thank you to God and the good people of Surulere , I am honoured to bring the first “free ride to school” bus for children around Surulere. Surulere my dear Surulere I can’t thank you enough !!!!

373 illegal pharmacies, patent drug stores shut in Ogun.

About 373 illegal pharmacies and patent medicine stores have been shutdown by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria in Ogun State for various offences. The Director, Inspection and Monitoring Department, PCN, Mrs. Anthonia Aruya, revealed this on Friday in Abeokuta, while briefing journalists about the activities of the council. : : Giving the breakdown, she said 15 pharmacies and 358 patent stores were affected. Mrs. Aruya said the action became necessary to save the public from purchasing drugs from unregistered outlets. : : According to her , “The PCN’s enforcement teams have been in Ogun State from the beginning of the week.
