Newborn abandoned in Jonas Brother backpack outside grocery store in Arizona.

A newborn baby was found abandoned  blanket and placed inside a Jonas Brothers backpack, then left in a grocery cart outside a grocery store in the car park in Tempe, Arizona. A pedestrian reported her to a Food City store manager, who called 911 . In a recording of the call released by police the good Samaritan said:

"Hi, I just found a newborn baby. And she's beautiful."

"Oh my goodness, the baby was just barely born right now ... the umbilical cord was cut but it's still attached."

The manager, whose name is redacted from the recording, told the fire department, also on the line, that he believed the baby had just been born. He reported that her umbilical cord had been cut but remained attached to her body.

“I’ve never dealt with anything like this before,” he said.

The girl’s mother was nowhere to be found and the customer who first reported the baby was also long gone, the manager said.

A fire department officer helped the Good Samaritan check the baby’s vital signs.

The grocery store where the baby was left was a few miles away from a Police station.
