Vice President Osinbajo Says President Buhari Treats Him Like A Son.

The acting president stated this yesterday at the palace of the Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumin Usman.  Osinbajo who was in Katsina, President Buhari’s home state, to inaugurate the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) clinic.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Acting President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, quoted Osinbajo as saying that he felt very much at home in Katsina.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, in messages posted on his Twitter handle @akandeoj, quoted the acting president saying that: “I feel very much at home in Katsina, more so because this is the state of the president, who has taken me as a brother. 

“In fact, the president has taken me as a son in the way he treats me.”

According to the acting president, President Muhammadu Buhari believes in the unity of the country.

He said the amount of responsibilities President Buhari had given to him showed that he (Buhari) ‘seriously’ believed that they could both work together as brothers.

The development came exactly a week after the two top government officials engaged in an altercation at the same venue. Oyo-Ita, on arrival at the Council Chambers, venue of the meeting went straight to Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and greeted him. She was still discussing with Osinbajo when Kyari arrived.
